Moran Raceway provides the highest quality racing school in the karting industry.All racing school curriculums have been personally designed by both Rocky Moran Sr. and Jr.

With the best karts, the most professional staff, and by far the most challenging track in the country, nothing else compares. Our racing school is the best introduction to the sport of karting. The fundementals of karting are highlighted and taught in a fun, safe, and interesting way. All Moran Raceway programs are "Arrive and Drive", meaning we supply everything needed from karts to safety gear. We look forward to seeing you at the track!

"Techniques of Karting"- Click here for performance & chassis specs

This is our most popular program. Participants exclusively drive the entire one mile track in a private enviroment. The day begins with 45 minutes of classroom preparation where the basics of karting are taught in a simple format. Students will learn about the racing line, apex's, braking, flags, safety, and much more. Following the classroom session all participants will suit up for a track walk with an instructor. Next, lead-follow sessions begin as an instructor will lead students around the track in order for everybody to get a first hand glance of the action. Soon enough, students will be driving by themselves as instructors diligently supervise the program while taking notes and giving feedback to each driver. This course is great for beginner to experienced drivers. Approximately 40 laps will be completed in this course.

$250 for drivers w/ own kart (all ages).
Class Size: Maximum 14 students
Time: 9am to 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays all year long.
Ages: 5 yrs. minimum
Sizes: Maximum 270lbs/6'6"

"Advanced Techniques of Karting"- Click here for performance & chassis specs

This course is designed for the graduate of our "Techniques of Karting" class or an experienced karter who is looking to finely sharpen their skills in various aspects. Participants exclusively drive the entire one mile track during this course. Advanced sessions are normally "one on one" and each driver can expect to be under the "microscope" of thier advanced racing instructor. Each program is tailored to the driver or group depending on each individual's needs and background. More emphasis is placed on speed, precision, and consistency with less emphasis on basic driving techniques. Approximately 50 laps will be completed in this course.

$360 for all ages
$310 for drivers w/ own kart (all ages)
Class Size: Instructor to driver ratio never exceeds 3:1 in an advanced school
Time & Dates: 9am to 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays all year long.
Ages: 5 yrs. old minimum
Sizes: Maximum 270lbs/6'6"

All driving programs, including rentals need to be scheduled and booked at least 24 hours in advance and preferably one week or more in advance.
